What it is
Venom: The Last Dance's late invention: bonding to a symbiote leaves a beacon in a resurrected host, and the god who made the symbiotes needs one to get off the planet he is imprisoned on. It explains the whole trilogy after the fact, and it exists so that Eddie Brock's survival becomes the problem.
