Who they are
The comics' Madame Web is a blind, elderly clairvoyant in a life-support web; the film makes her thirty and gives her an origin in the Peruvian rainforest, a mother who died researching spiders, and three teenagers to protect from a man in their futures. Johnson has since been funnier about the film than the film is.
