Who they are

Enoch is a synthetic life form with a mandate to watch and not interfere, delivered in a monotone that the show gets years of comedy out of. He is also, unfashionably, kind: the character most likely to volunteer for the version of a plan that involves being left behind. His literalism is the joke and the tragedy.
