Who they are
War Zone skips the origin entirely and opens with the character mid-career, which is the right instinct — Stevenson plays him as a tired professional rather than a grieving man, and the film is a lurid, gleeful comic-book horror picture that failed and has since been forgiven. Stevenson also plays Volstagg in three Thor films, which is a different man entirely.
