Who they are
Cage plays a man possessed by an accountant's idea of hell: sober, jumpy, addicted to jelly beans, and on fire from the neck up every night. Two films, both bad, and both far more interesting than their reputations — the second has him urinating flame and a director who filmed the whole thing like a music video.

A stunt rider who sold his soul
The Ghost Rider was Marvel's attempt at a supernatural biker in the brief window when the Comics Code allowed the occult back in, and the deal — a father's life for a demon in the driving seat — has never been improved on. The flaming skull was Ploog's idea.
