Who they are
Kazi is the counterweight to a gang written as comic relief — a sniper who does the arithmetic while everyone around him argues about pizza. He grew up in the same room as Maya Lopez, which is what gives the show its one properly tragic thread: two people raised by the same organisation, disagreeing about whether to leave it.
