Who they are
Razor Fist is the Ten Rings' constant: he takes the pendant in San Francisco, fights on a bamboo scaffold in Macau, and is still standing at the end on a different side of the same organisation. The film treats him as staff rather than as a monster, which is why his defection reads as a promotion.
