Who they are
The Incredible Hulk leaves him with a swelling forehead and a grin; Brave New World picks him up seventeen years later in a cell, with a brain that runs probability better than a computer and a very specific grudge against the man who put him there. He is the franchise's longest-delayed payoff, and the film uses him as a plotter rather than a bruiser, which is the right call.
