Who they are
The films give her the competence and then keep undercutting it — she is written as the sensible one and shot as the one who has to keep taking her clothes off to disappear. Alba has been clear about how little she enjoyed it. The wedding in the sequel is the closest either film gets to the comics' actual appeal.
