What it is
Stick's order: an ancient, dwindling company of warriors who exist to fight the Hand and are entirely willing to raise orphans as soldiers to do it. The saga never lets them be the good half of the argument — most of what the Hand does to Elektra, the Chaste tried first, and the only real difference is what they wanted her for.
