The place itself
One of the Seven Capital Cities of Heaven, reachable from Earth only when the passes align, which is roughly once every fifteen years. Its monks raise orphans into weapons and give one of them the job of holding the gate against the Hand. Iron Fist is about a man who was handed that post and left it, and the show is at its best when K'un-Lun is a place with rules rather than a flashback.
