Who they are
A childhood accident with a quantum experiment left her unstable, and S.H.I.E.L.D. trained the instability into an asset. Ant-Man and the Wasp makes her a villain who is actually a patient; Thunderbolts* picks her up years later, still in pain, still working for whoever will pay in treatment, and gives her a team that notices.
