Who they are
Jiaying survived something in 1945 that should have ended her and has spent the decades since building a place where her people are safe from the agencies that catalogue them. She is a genuinely good teacher and a completely uncompromising one. Her position on S.H.I.E.L.D. is not a prejudice; it is a memory.
