What it is
Four people from the same forty blocks who wanted nothing to do with each other and were briefly, grudgingly, a team. There is no charter and no tower: a lawyer, a private investigator, a bulletproof man and a billionaire monk get put in the same corridor by the same conspiracy and have to agree on an exit. It lasts one series, which is exactly right — the point of the Defenders is that they are neighbours rather than colleagues.
