DeHaan's Harry is sick from his first scene and knows the family disease will take him the way it took Norman, which turns his friendship with Peter into a transaction: one favour, one blood sample, one refusal. The sequel compresses his whole arc into a third act, and DeHaan plays the collapse with a nasty, wheedling charm.
