Who they are
Ramonda is a supporting figure in the first film and the spine of the second, where she has to hold a grieving nation together in front of the United Nations while her surviving child refuses to grieve at all. Angela Bassett plays her as a woman who has decided that dignity is a strategy, and Wakanda Forever is largely about what that costs.
