Who they are
Brunnhilde watched Hela slaughter every Valkyrie in a single charge and spent centuries declining to think about it. Ragnarök's best scene is the flashback playing over her getting drunk; by Love and Thunder she is running New Asgard as a working monarch with a tourism problem.
