The place itself
The Frost Giants came ashore here in 965, Odin left the Tesseract in its church, Schmidt dug it out in 1942, and in 2023 the survivors of Asgard moved in and started charging admission for the tour. It is the franchise's most humane idea about what happens after a catastrophe: not restoration, but a smaller life, run competently, by people who used to be royalty.
