Who they are
Assembled from Ultron's intended body, J.A.R.V.I.S.'s dismantled mind and the Mind Stone, and awake for about four years total. Vision is the MCU's one genuine attempt at a character with no past to draw on: he reasons from first principles, picks up Mjolnir without noticing what that means, and is killed twice in five minutes by people who both loved him.
