What it is
The Kree run on a Supreme Intelligence that wears the face of whoever you most admire, which is an extremely efficient piece of authoritarian design. Captain Marvel reframes their whole war as an occupation, and The Marvels deals with the consequences of Carol destroying the Supreme Intelligence, which is why Hala's sun is dying.
