Who they are

Into the Spider-Verse is about a boy who has been told he is expected to be exceptional and would rather be left alone, and the whole film is engineered so that the leap of faith is his own decision rather than a destiny. Across then takes the thesis apart: everyone he meets tells him the story requires his father to die, and he refuses the story.

Ultimate Fallout #4 (2011), Brian Michael Bendis and Sara Pichelli
