What it is

The Strategic Scientific Reserve — an Allied deep-science unit created to counter HYDRA's, which made exactly one super-soldier and then lost the recipe on a Brooklyn street. Agent Carter is largely about what the SSR does to the woman who ran its most successful programme once the war ends and the men come home.
