The place itself
Cloak & Dagger's Louisiana: Roxxon money in the skyline, a police department that has learned which reports to lose, and a religious life the series takes entirely seriously. The rig failure that opens the story is the city's wound and the source of both leads' powers, which is the show's neatest structural decision.
